ABOUT KYLE
Kyle Rye currently serves as the Pulpit Minister for the Buford Church of Christ in Buford, GA.
In May of 2003, Kyle graduated cum laude from Harding University in Searcy, AR with a B.A. in Bible and Religion and a minor in Psychology. In 2008 he returned to Harding University and completed his Master of Ministry degree in May of 2012.
In February of 2004, Kyle became the Youth and Family Minister for the Scenic Hills Church of Christ in Pensacola, FL and served in that role for five and a half years. In October of 2009, he transitioned into the role of Pulpit Minister for Scenic Hills and served in that role through August of 2016 at which time he moved to Buford.
During his time at Scenic Hills, Kyle was heavily involved with Gulf Coast Bible Camp in Lucedale, MS. He co-directed the Middle School Week session of summer camp from 2007-2015. He also served on GCBC’s Board of Directors from 2007-2016, assuming the role of Secretary from 2012-2016.
Kyle has spoken at churches in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, and Scotland as part of their Summer Series or special events. He has spoken at the Mobile Spiritual Enrichment Workshop, the Tara Bible Lectureship, Polishing the Pulpit, and Digital Bible Study. Additionally, he is a certified Prepare-Enrich facilitator and has served as a Financial Peace University facilitator.
Kyle and his wife Sara, have been married since 2004, and they have two daughters.
