Discipleship necessitates following. This is explicit stated in Luke 9:23 where Jesus said, “if anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.” You cannot avoid the requirement of following. But what are the implications of this command and how does it apply to our lives? In this series of lessons, we will explore what the Bible says about this command to follow in an effort to gain a more complete understanding of its implications and applications because Jesus said if you don’t follow Him then you’re not worthy of Him (Matthew 10:38).
