Lesson description:

On Thursday, April 13, 2023, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) announced that “March 2023 was Earth’s second-warmest March in 174 years.” This announcement comes just 9 days before the 53rd international observance of Earth Day. With another climate change announcement and an upcoming day dedicated to environmentalism, we should consider what the Bible has to say about the Christian’s responsibility to the environment. Some may contend that Christians should not be concerned about the environment because it is destined for destruction. But the pending destruction of this earth does not eliminate our biblical responsibility toward it. So let’s discover what our responsibility is as Christians toward the environment.
